Sky Legend is a golf course community located at the western end of the Vail Valley, in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, in Gypsum, Colorado. Sky Legend sits on the upper bench overlooking all of the Cotton Ranch Valley

Our Metro raw water systems update.

Upper pump house: operational and has been tested already this season. With an above average snow pack again this year, we are expecting no problems with our two water leases that serve and are used in Sky Legend. The filtration system we added last season gave us good results.

Lower pump house: we added a new filtration system last month, which should help us with sediment coming from Gypsum Creek clogging our residential sprinkler heads and meters. We need to complete 5 taps for the new homes constructed before we pressurize the lower system.

Ditches and head-gates: we are still getting Chatfield Bartholomew ditch (this ditch fills Red Fox ponds and flows into our west bar ditch) ready to take water and are clearing and sealing the ditch. We completed the intake upgrade behind Timberwolf where the liner needed to be replaced. We do need to wait to take water through this ditch until Scott Green (who is currently subdividing his property and installing a few culverts that we approved for access to his new homesites). The Horse pasture community and Estes ranch do not have their ditches ready yet and we share this ditch with our neighbors. I’m expecting to take water through this ditch in a few weeks.

Grundell Brothers and AF Grundell ditch is completed, cleared and sealed. We are taking water through this ditch now which flows through the 3 and 4 holes to our west bar ditch and into pond 1 by our lower pump-house.

It is possible that service could be interrupted because Comcast is installing a new fiber optic cable throughout Cotton Ranch and Sky Legend. If they hit our mainline piping we will repair ASAP.

Please make sure your meters are cleaned out and can be read by our meter reader.

Provides architectural control for the community of Cotton Ranch and is responsible for reviewing and approving all new construction, renovations, and exterior improvements.

Master HOA for the valley floor and upper bench providing common area maintenance to the community.

A quasi-municipal corporation that finances the infrastructure of the Cotton Ranch Development, primarily irrigation.

Sitting on the upper bench of Cotton Ranch, Sky Legend HOA is responsible for the maintenance of limited common elements. It also is responsible for some infrastructure not owned by the town of Gypsum.
